The Covid-19 pandemic has brought the world to a standstill. This global crisis has created never before seen social and economic uncertainties. The way societies and their people around the world live has changed forever, and we believe it's just beginning and we are far from seeing an end to this pandemic anytime in the near future.
As of April 30, 2020, the firm has made the difficult decision to no longer operate, and we will no longer consider new investment opportunities. During this global lockdown, we will only focus our valuable time and resources on assisting our existing portfolio of companies for our shareholders.
For the time being and until further notice, our offices in downtown Seattle and in Canada will be closed. Our personnel will be working remotely from the safety of their homes, close to their families. We anticipate our productivity to continue, but on a limited basis. Also, we further expect disruptions in our services as other services we often rely on, will also be reducing their operations, workforce, or have already closed.
We hope to review our limited operating activities in the following months, and whether we reopen over time, will remain uncertain. In the meantime, we wish everyone and their families the very best in health and safety. We encourage all of you to remain safe and strong during these unprecedented challenges.
